I have to admit that Luna was a band that had to grow on me a bit. I remember seeing them open for The Screaming Trees in Dallas in 1992, and not being too impressed. My tastes were a bit different back then, and I don’t think they were a good mix for The Screaming Trees which was the reason I went. Years later I heard a song by them, and instantly fell in love with the simplicity of their sound, the very reason I didn’t care for them to begin with. I’m glad that I rediscovered the band, because I listen to them quite a bit.
